Simone Biles

Simone Biles is an American gymnast. Born March 14, 1997 in Columbus, Ohio U.S.A. Being a U.S. female gymnast, Biles was one of the few who won four gold medals in one Games at the 2016 Olympics. She is also the first person to win three consecutive world championships. Biles lived within Spring Texas in the Houston metropolitan area after she and her sister Adria had been adopted by grandparents Ronald and Nellie Biles. Simone was first introduced to gymnastics by her teacher at daycare Aimee Borman at six years old. She stayed at Bannon's Gymnastix for 11 years. Biles has won gold and bronze medals at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships 2010 in floor and vault before her debut in 2011 at the top category of gymnastics competition. She dominated her sport just two years later. Biles made headlines by her consistent performance, her enthusiasm and level of effort she introduced every event - vault, uneven bars, balance beam and ground exercises.
