Kari Samantha Wuhrer (born on April 28th in 1967) is an American actor and a singer. She began her acting career when she was in her teens. Her best-known character was as Maggie Beckett from the TV show Sliders as well as for playing the character of the character Sheriff Samantha Parker on the horror film Eight Legged Freaks. There are three sisters and brothers. While she was a kid she sang in nightclubs and slipped out to sing. After attending the Wooster School, at 13 years old and began to study acting. Later, she attended the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University, Marymount Manhattan College at Columbia University and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, under the famous teacher Uta Hagen, Wuhrer studied. Born on April 28 the 28th of April, 1967 at Brookfield Connecticut. Her father is a German American policeman as well as a salesperson for autos. Kari is one of the three youngest children. The singer was in nightclubs when she was teens, sneaking out of the house to sing. Kari was only 13 when she began acting lessons at Wooster School. In the following years, Kari enrolled at Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. Columbia University. Marymount Manhattan College. Kari got into acting while she was still a teenager. She had her first big breakthrough with MTV Remote Control in 1987.
