Rauw Alejandro
Raul Alejandro Ruiz (born on January 10, 1993) who is also known professionally as Rauw Alejandro, is a Puerto Rican singer and songwriter. The name is often referred to as the "King of the New Reggaeton",[2][3the singer is part of "the new generation" of Puerto Rican urban musicians. The album he released as his debut studio album, Afrodisiaco was released in November of 2020. Vice Versa was his second studio album. The lead single, "Todo de Ti", was released in June 2021. Two Latin Grammy Awards have been won by him from 12 nominations. Raul Alejandro Ocasio Ruiz was born on January 10 1993, in San Juan, Puerto Rico and was raised in Canovanas and Carolina. His father Raul Ocasio Ruiz played guitar and his mother Maria Nelly Ruiz was his backing vocalist. They introduced him to the music of Michael Jackson and Elvis Presley. 6 Alejandro was a part of his father's household for many years in the United States, mostly New York City and Miami, where he was inspired by R&B and the dancehall genres. Alejandro and Anuel A.A., a co-worker of the Puerto Rican rapper are childhood friends. They attended the same school and attended classes together. [9][10] Alejandro was a part of school talent shows when he was a kid since he was a lover of dancing. After graduating from high school, Alejandro was enrolled in the University of Puerto Rico. At the age of six until the age of twenty, he played soccer, however, he resigned because he "could not do what he expected to" and suffered an injury at the age of 20. To be a scout for the Premier Development League (PDL), he moved to Orlando, Florida. Rauw Alejandro is famous for his Latin R&B, Latin Reggaeton and rhythmic pop. Billboard noted that it's contributed to "set him out from the growing group of reggaetoneros who are influenced by pop". He was initially influenced by Presley and Jackson, and later by Ricky Martin, Daddy Yankee, as well as Chris Brown. He also mentions Ciara as an inspiration for his music.
