Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe is a British-Nigerian mixed race child, was born to a family in South London. Both her parents have both been English. She was born on the southern part of London Council Estate and went to The Brit School aged 14. In London she attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in which her acting diploma was obtained. While attending the academy, she performed in several performances on stage, such as the King Henry V playing Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights portraying Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe's acting career started in the series Storm Damage. Since then, she's been making guest appearances in films like Teachers, Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Her debut film as a performer came from her role in the Woody Allen 2007 film Cassandra's Dream. She starred with Colin Farrell & Ewan MacGregor. In the following year she was cast as Elisha (a BBC Three drama-pilot) in West 10 LDN. Additionally she appeared in Trexx as Ollie and in six episodes of Flipside. Madekwe played Bambi on The ITV2 show Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe starred as the lead character in How to Lose Friends And Alienate Others. The comedy released in the year 2008. She also appeared as a character in Little Sweet Thing, by Roy Williams, and Flight Path, directed by David Watson.
Madekwe's US debut came in 2009, with The thriller The Beautiful Life. The series aired only two episodes before it was ended on The CW. In February of 2011 she was cast in the role of Ashley Davenport in the ABC drama series Revenge. The show premiered in May 2013 and it was announced that Madekwe, who had been a series regular in the two previous seasons, would be leaving the show following a guest appearance in the first episode of the new season. In 2014 and 2016, she starred in the role of Tituba on the show Salem. Madekwe married her long-time love, Iddo. They've collaborated on Secret Diary of a Call Girl as well as he was also on the show with Madekwe on the TV show Salem.

Ashley Leggat is a Gemini-nominated actor who was raised by an extended family. Her parents were Patty and Roy Leggat. Her parents Roy and Patty and the four brothers of her, Brett, Todd, and Bram and Bram, were present. Ashley's sports brothers played baseball during summers and hockey during winters. Ashley didn't walk, instead she danced. In the age of two and half she discovered Baby Ballet. Ashley discovered a love for dancing after she started Baby Ballet. Until she graduated from High School, Ashley danced competitively in the highest divisions of ballet, tap, jazz pointe, acrobatics musical theatre, lyrical and hip hop. Top soloists at major competitions such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance which were all given to Ashley.
